ORFORD CASTLE

Orford Castle was a royal castle built by Henry II in the 12th century as a coastal defense. The castle survives almost completley intact with three immense towers reaching to 90 feet in hight. Inside, a spiral staircase leads to a maze of rooms and passageways.
